Why are incoming calls not working in Cisco Meeting App?

From Cisco Meeting Server 2.2 and later, incoming calls are disabled by default for:

  • new Cisco Meeting Server deployments, or
  • existing deployments where you have previously never enabled incoming calls

If your deployment is new or if you have previously never enabled incoming calls, you need to enable incoming calls for Meeting App via the API or the Web Admin interface.

Using API

Use the API object to either

POST to /userProfiles

or

PUT to /userProfiles/<user profile id>

Set the request parameter canReceiveCalls = “true”.

Using Web Admin interface

1. Login to the Web Admin interface of the Meeting Server, go to Configuration>CMA user settings.

2. Set Allow incoming calls to allowed and select Submit.
