I cannot sign in using a Cisco Meeting App in a deployment with separate Core and Edge servers because authentication fails. What should I check?

Firstly, check if username and password is correct. 

Then check that the appropriate ports are open on both firewalls:

  • External to DMZ firewall
  • DMZ to Internal firewall

Also check the XMPP server log to see if the attempt to authenticate is successful.
